Dear CAST – UTech, Ja Alumni,
If you don’t mind, please take a few quick minutes to share your latest contact details with us. Our current database is comprised of exports from our University’s student database, done annually in your graduation year. This means with our mobile and global lives, the information we have on you would have changed quite a bit since our University first captured it, in your first year with us.
Our current alumni email database is also very simple, yet functional, in enabling us to share updates with you. However, it does not give us a comprehensive view of you beyond your name and email.
While we hope one day to be able to afford to have a robust alumni database, as this would enable us to properly capture both your history with us, and also who you have become today as professionals & retirees, we think this simple and ongoing Alumni Contact Update Exercise is a good middle ground. So we hope you will agree and choose to participate.
As you may know, since 2014, we have been gently reaching out and inviting alumni to share their contact details with us. Over 300 CAST-UTech, Ja Alumni located worldwide have happily responded since then. However, over 60,000 alumni have graduated from our noble institution to date. We don’t want to miss out on connecting with you as well.
So please CLICK the link below to share your most current information with us. Of course, if you would take a moment to also share this blog link with your Alumni colleagues, we’d greatly appreciate that as well. Always happy to connect with a graduate of CAST – UTech, Jamaica!
Yes, I Want to Stay in Touch With UTech, Jamaica!
Thanks for your continued support of UTech, Jamaica.
We Appreciate You!

As a Mentor at the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica) You Have the Wonderful Opportunity to Draw On your Life Experiences, Failures and Triumphs to Guide and Encourage Students …
Who feel lonely, confused, completely overwhelmed
Who are at a crossroads, needing to make a critical do-or-die decisions but don’t have the experience or information needed, or the confidence to just-make-the-decision and move on with life powerfully
Who need someone that they know for sure is in their corner. Someone who has time for them…to listen, to understand, to encourage…to give them room to explore and fail without judgment, as well as to celebrate with them when they get it right
Who need someone to provide a safe space to work through the challenging life experiences, and be better, stronger, and wiser for it.
And our students at UTech, especially our final year students, need someone wise to the world, and to the workplace, to listen, to understand, to gently guide and to celebrate with them, as they take their final steps as students and transition into the uncertainties of: job search; the workplace; re-paying student loans; establishing a meaningful career and creating a future they can pursue with hope and passion.
The Career & Placement Unit is seeking to recruit 150 new & returning mentors to UTech Jamaica’s Annual Mentorship Programme.
