effective method to monitor your income, savings and expenditure.

Directions to Download Copy of NCB Budgeting Template

1. Click on the link below, which will take you to the UTech Alumni Relations Office’s Google Docs website
2. The NCB Budget Template File will open but may not be completely viewable before you download and save as Excel
3. At top right of page go to FILE, then DOWNLOAD AS, then use right arrow and select MICROSOFT EXCEL
4. Save the downloaded template as an Excel file to your folder of choice
5. Open the Copy of the NCB Budgeting Template and look at the bottom of the page for 7 tabs, which indicate 7 separate pages of the template. The tabs are named as follows:

• Overview
• Budgeting tips
• Net worth
• *Budget
• *Actual
• *Variance
• Setting Your Goals

Note: * Budget, Actual, Variance are the 3 main areas in the tool from which to manage your finances.
