 VACANCY

 LECTURER 

Caribbean School of Sport Sciences

 The University of Technology, Jamaica, Caribbean School of Sport Sciences seeks to identify an experienced professional to fill the following position in the Department of Sport. 

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS: 

The successful candidate should possess at least a minimum qualification of a Masters’ Degree in the related area.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • The candidate must have at least five years (5) experience in teaching and curriculum development at the undergraduate/postgraduate levels in a tertiary educational institution;
  • Be competent to teach specific modules to students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels.  The ability to conduct practical sessions in swimming, golf, and racquet sport would be an advantage.
  • Have a commitment to combining research with teaching, and show evidence of successful educational practice as well as sustained professional engagement in their disciplines.
