UTech, Jamaica Dental Students Provide Free Service to Trelawny Infirmary September 10, 2018

The UTech, Jamaica Alumni Community extends gratitude and congratulations to our Alumni Valrie McKenzie, Lecturer, College of Oral Health and Eric Crawford, Chairman of UTech Foundation on their collaboration on this project. Ms. McKenzie was the Team Lead for this project. Mr. Crawford facilitated the donation of the commercial washing machine by the UTech Foundation to the Trelawny Infirmary.

We at UTech, Jamaica could not be more pleased at the positive synergy among our alumni and the service that you continue to provide to your alma mater. It is appreciated.


Dental students provide free care for infirmary residents

MAYOR of Falmouth and chairman of the Trelawny Municipal Corporation Colin Gager,has welcomed support from the College of Oral Health Sciences, University of Technology, Jamaica to the Trelawny Infirmary.

For the past six years the college has been treating residents at the infirmary, providing them with oral and dental care services.

Mayor Gager met with the college team at the infirmary last Friday to thank members personally. He also expressed appreciation for a commercial washing machine and sundry health care items donated by the college.
