Finance & Business Services Division

The University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica) seeks to identify a suitable candidate to fill the post in the Finance & Business Services Division (Student Financing):

Scholarship Assistant – Level 5b

(Temporary)

The Scholarship Assistant will provide support to the University’s scholarship programmes section in areas of Data Management and Accounting administration.

Requirements:

The preferred applicant should possess

 

  • a Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications;
  • at least two (2) years experience in a fund raising and donor relations or similar environment;
  • knowledge recognition and fund raising events;
  • knowledge of accounting principles and practices;
  • good knowledge of customer service techniques, practices and principles;
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and
  • Working knowledge of UTech policies and procedures.
