Lecturer in Land Surveying & Geographic Information Sciences


The University of Technology, Jamaica School of Building and Land Management seeks to identify an experienced professional to fill the full-time position of Lecturer in Land Surveying and Geographic Information Sciences.



The successful candidate should preferably possess a Master’s Degree/professional qualification in the relevant discipline.



The successful candidate will make significant contributions to the University’s teaching, learning and research profile by undertaking teaching across the undergraduate courses of study in the subject areas of Plane Surveying, Field Surveying, Introduction to Surveying, Site Surveying, and Final Year Project Coordination. Teaching is offered through a variety of modalities, including lectures, small group tutorials, and problem-based activities. Applicants should have a strong commitment to student development and outcomes of excellence.
