Keep Driving Repairs and Services Ltd (KDRS) is a growing Full Service Auto Centre, providing general servicing, all motor vehicle repair, spraying and collision services, as well as auto accessories to clients in the Kingston Metropolitan Area. The Management of KDRS is looking for the right candidate to join the KDRS Team as

JOB TITLE:  Sales & Administrative Assistant

The successful candidate will provide support to the Director in the overall management of the office and sales, through the duties outlined below.  Prior experience providing administrative support and/or sales is desirable.  However, training will be provided and the most desired characteristics are that the candidate has a good attitude and a strong desire to learn.

Administrative Duties

  • Manage inventory, office supplies and record keeping
  • Prepare business correspondence
  • Monitor and update social media platforms and website and create basic marketing content
  • Respond to customer and supplier queries in person and via phone, email, social media, internet and technology mediated options
  • Record income and expenditures, prepare invoices and payments for staff and suppliers
  • Maintain filing system
  • Conduct research using online and offline sources
  • Supervise junior staff

Sales Advisor Duties

  • Create and maintain a growing contact database of potential clients and client companies according to the characteristics of the company’s Ideal Client profile
  • Maintain the database of existing customers and maintain good customer relationship through scheduled calls, emails and messaging to ensure that the company stays front-of-mind of the customer
  • Contact potential clients and have sales conversations in person, by phone and email marketing in order to achieve monthly sales targets
  • Record and convey the customer’s car problems to the auto mechanic to facilitate proper diagnosis and repair
  • Record and convey the nature of the proposed and actual repairs to the customer in simple language
  • Schedule customer repairs
  • Complete the relevant paperwork and administrative task in support of the customer’s repairs


The successful candidate will

  • Have a minimum of 4 GCE, CXC or CSEC including Math and English. College graduates are also welcome to apply.

  • Be analytical
  • Take pride in the quality of their work reflecting speed with accuracy
  • Take the initiative to read consistently about the business and operations in order to suggest ways to improve business processes and avoid problems
  • Be pleasing to work with

  • Have a competitive spirit and like the challenge of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Have a strong desire to learn and execute tasks with excellence
  • Be interested in learning about business operations, sales and marketing
