Job Profile – HR and Administrative Officer (Portland)

Summary / Objective

The core responsibilities of the HR / Administrative Officer are recruiting, managing employee benefits and assisting with the execution of a range of general human resource administration activities and staff welfare programmes as outlined below.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

1. Recruiting
Organise the recruiting by administering entrance tests, following up to ensure the test papers are marked, scheduling the candidates for training, assisting in the orientation, and ensuring an overall smooth onboarding.

2. Compensation and Benefits Administration
Ensure that confirmed employees are given their confirmation letters after probation and are enrolled in the health insurance and life insurance schemes and receive other eligible benefits at that time, e,g. uniforms. Advise the CEO/COO of current salary administration surveys and practices in the industry. Prepare salary increase letters following the decision to pay salary increases and maintain a master spreadsheet with all staff salaries.
