C&WJ Co-operative Credit Union Limited (C&WJCCU), one of the leading credit unions in Jamaica, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the following post at its Whitehouse Branch in Westmoreland:


Reporting to the Branch Administrator, the Teller/Customer Service Representative is responsible for performing teller functions, and ensuring prompt and accurate processing of members’ transactions. The incumbent establishes and maintains profitable relationships with members on behalf of C&WJ CU, by taking personal and complete responsibility for each member contact and ensuring that all members’ requirements are completely met.


  • Perform teller functions.
  • Maintain computer records by updating member information as necessary.
  • Cross-sell the Credit Union’s services when directly serving members by answering inquiries, actively informing members of new services and product promotions, ascertaining members’ needs and directing members to other staff as appropriate.
  • Provide members with all necessary information for membership.
  • Open new accounts and receive customer transactions in accordance with current policies and procedures.
  • Solve problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, securing answers and providing information to members and/or direct them to the proper person for specific information and assistance.
