An excellent opportunity has arisen within the School of Graduate Studies, Research & Entrepreneurship for the following post:
Administrative Support 2 – Level 5B (Permanent)
The Administrative Support 2 will provide confidential secretarial and administrative support services in the School of Graduate Studies, Research & Entrepreneurship, (SGSRE). He/she will be responsible for managing the Front Desk functions for the SGSRE and for directing visitors to other Units within the building, carrying out routine research of data, coordinating and providing secretarial support to committee meetings He/she will also draft and file correspondence, assist with monitoring and updating of the SGSRE’s web page, assist with planning of workshops, exhibitions, seminars and conferences, provide routine information on graduate studies, research and entrepreneurship to clients and students, order and maintain an inventory of stationery and office supplies for the Unit.
The preferred applicant will possess at minimum: a Diploma in Administrative Management or a related discipline; at least two (2) years experience in a secretarial post; sound knowledge of standard office procedures and practices, records and file management systems; good communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
