EULA ACKBERSINGH died in May 2015. She was a member of the CAST Pioneers, the name affectionately used to identify the first graduating class of students from the College of Arts Science & Technology (CAST), currently known as the University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech). Eula attended CAST during the period 1958-1960. She was raised in Little London, Westmoreland, and attended the Mannings High School. At CAST, Eula pursued studies in Institutional Management. She later migrated to Canada where she lived and worked in Mississauga, attended the United Church and did community work in that city.

The University of Technology, Jamaica through its Alumni Relations Office extends condolences to Ms. Ackbersingh’s family and members of the CAST Pioneers. We hope that through this tribute your spirits will be uplifted as you remember a valued member of your family and community.
