Hi Asafa,

You will always be my fastest man in the world. This is very hard battle to fight, only God knows your heart and what’s the truth. Just be strong and and trust that he will deliver you.
You’re in my prayers.

Keep the faith. These trials only build you for there is still much in life you have to cover.

3. Hermine Metcalfe - July 24, 2013

Asafa: This must be a very difficult time for you. I am praying that the suspense and stress will soon be behind you and that you will be back on the track not long from now.

“The UTech Alumni Family here in the greater New York area extends sympathy and support to our fellow Alums. We were proud to honour these two Stars a few years ago and still consider them model citizens. We are especially encouraged with the professional and candor press releases from them. We hope to see them return to the MVP/UTech fraternity soon.”

Asafa it’s important to stay calm and grounded while battling this difficulty in life. Please persevere as the verse states “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:12-13”. I have faith in you and I know that it takes strength to be positive and look ahead to the future, but be content and secure as the love of friends and family are there to help you weather these storms and trials that plague us all from time to time.

You have survived all the harsh and adverse criticisms of some of your countrymen, despite which you have persevered and risen to great heights. You have made us all so very proud of you. Stay the course as this too will pass. Blessings always.

Asafa remember the Lord is your Rock and on Him you can stand, keep praying .

Asafa- We will never forget that it was you who started us on this new era of athletic glory….Therefore may your heart and soul be at peace in the conviction of your actions. May your mind be renewed and strengthened in the times ahead. Most importantly may you place all your trust in GOD to fight all your battles for you.

Toppa no feel no way your groin injury is a challenge this drug thing is just another challenge. No littleboy cant run under 10sec for 100m
Gwaan mi youth. You ah still my sprinter.

12. Tyrone Edwards - July 23, 2013

Hey Asafa,

You are the first sprinter to run the most sub 10s and that wins you a special place in history. Everyone faces difficulties and these exist to allow us to grow, so take it as one of life’s learnable moments. Trust in God that he will be with you and that the one set of foot prints in the sand is God taking you up and carrying you through the difficulties.

This too shall pass

15. Angela Isaacs-Brown - July 23, 2013

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40 v31

God is able to do the exceeding abundant above; trust Him, it is well.

Covering you and Sherone with prayer. He that the Son sets free is free indeed. Keep the faith brother and depend on the Lord Jesus Christ to continue to fight your battles!
