Site Coordinator

Job Summary

The Site Coordinator for the Greenfield Stadium Site Campus (Trelawny) works cooperatively with various internal and external constituencies including academic and non-academic campus units, alumni, external advisory boards, accreditation agencies, affiliated professions, government and private sector interests to effectively communicate and advance the mission of the University external constituencies including academic and non-academic campus units.

Functional Responsibilities

He/she is responsible for overseeing the administration of all student support programmes in the Trelawny Campus, as well as providing human resource and financial management.  The position will represent the University on relevant Boards and Committees within and outside the University community, and play a lead role in fund raising and development efforts at the Greenfield Campus.

Education and Experience Requirement

Preference will be given to applicants possessing a relevant Masters Degree in Education Administration, or any other related discipline with six (6) years administrative experience at an educational institution involved with programme planning, programme delivery and/or academic management.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirement

·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·         Proven leadership skills, creative and innovative approaches to problem solving

·         Excellent knowledge of the Open Learning concept and methods including distance education delivery systems

·         Thorough knowledge of Higher Education Administration and academic programme planning

·         Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
